- State Project: In a historically significant campaign, raised more than $350,000 to underwrite a room on the first floor of the replica 1740 Washington Home at Ferry Farm, George Washington’s Boyhood Home in Fredericksburg, VA. Project merchandise featured the pink dogwood, with several levels of giving circles.
- Committed more than $50,000 to the preservation of Virginia records.
- Introduced the Virginia Information Packet.
- Established educational Fall Forum in one location.
- Received 30 C.A.R. Debutantes.
- Initiated the Outstanding Chapter Regent Award.
- Presented eight Women in American History awards.

Married to Mark for 33 years with one daughter, Mackie, who is also a DAR member and the 2019-2020 N.S.C.A.R. National President. An only child who was born, raised and lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Holds a BA from University of Virginia and an MBA from Averett University.
